Make a Hat!

Hats may be knitted or crocheted, adult or child sized. Hats made for infants will be collected and displayed, but not used in the performance. Any yarn may be used. Acrylic, cotton, bamboo and silk are perfect for those allergic to wool. Use your own pattern or one featured on this website. Be imaginative. Mix colors. Try out different stitches. Add bead or button embellishments. Have fun!

Don't know how to knit or crochet? Contact your local yarn store. They will have everything you need to get started.

Join others for an afternoon of knitting at Waubonsee Community College on September 23rd and October 18 from 1-3pm in the Student Activities Center. A knitting station is open during school hours in the Student Activities Center (STC-124). For more information contact Art Coordinator Anni Holm at aholm@waubonsee.edu or call (630) 466-7900, ext. 2964.

Once you have made a hat, you may send it or drop it off at:
